Here is a quick look at some frequently asked questions that will hopefully give you a better idea of what to expect when you visit Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church. If you do not see an answer to your question here or on any of the specific ministry pages, please contact the church office by calling 573-334-8546. We would love to assist you in preparation for your visit to Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church.

Where are you located?

Our address is 2826 Independence Street in the heart of Cape Girardeau. We are found between Kingshighway and Mt. Auburn Rd. Directions

Where do I go?

Greeters are located at the front entrance to the building. These greeters will help you get to the main auditorium, help your children get to their classes, and show you where your adult class is.

How do I get a ride to church?

We send out buses and vans every Sunday morning throughout our community. To see if one of these vehicles come through your neighborhood, please call our office for a ride. 573-334-8546

What do I need to bring?

A Bible will help you follow along with the message and scripture reading. If you have a Bible, bring it with you. We also offer Bibles if you do not have one.

When do I need to arrive?

Sunday morning services begin promptly at 11:00am. Sunday School classes meet at 10:00am. Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the service/class time to allow adequate time for parking and getting to the Auditorium/Sunday School class. If you have small children, this will give you enough time to show them their classes and get them checked in properly.

What should I wear?

Many people choose to wear their “Sunday best”. We only ask that you be modest and appropriate in what you choose to wear to God’s house.

Is the church handicap accessible?

Yes. There is reserved parking adjacent to both sides of the main entrance. The building is also equipped with wheelchair accessible entrances. Should you need a wheelchair to use or need assistance, please call the church office ahead of time, and we’ll be more than happy to help you get to where you are going.

Where do my children go?

We are equipped with clean, professional, state of the art nurseries and children’s classes. Our nurseries are for babies through 3 year olds. We have gone to extreme efforts to make sure your little ones will be cared for properly.

We hope you will join us soon!
